big sky country

One of the things I noticed when I moved to Ontario (and I had been warned) was that the sky was different. It seemed smaller, greyer, paler and not just quite right. As you can see by my masthead- I do love the sky. Every time I'm back in Alberta, I try to look at the sky and somehow absorb it's hugeness and it's blueness. I miss it.
So, imagine my joy when I was walking home from work, looked up and saw blue...big, blue sky:

:( if only. I actually have no idea when I'll be back next. I'd love to be able to come for what has become an annual Thanksgiving trip, but I'm not sure it will happen.

Seriously though- I couldn't get over how blue the sky was. It is so rare to see that here. I think because it wasn't that hot out. I loved it. Loved it. I wanted to lie in a field and just stare at the sky...and perhaps blow some bubbles.

Want Blue Skies...just drive from Colorado, through Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana, BC, then into Alberta! Good to be back home to your Alberta Blue! (and header picture scenery! Still love it everytime I check in!) I'll say hi to the cows for you...
