christmas pickles

For those of you who haven't been inside my office cubicle (and that would be pretty much all of you), I have a pretty little pickle finger puppet hanging on my wall. She's wearing a pink dress and she came off a Bics pickle jar 2 or 3 New Years Eves ago. I bet my dad had no idea I'd keep it for this long. Because of that and my love for pickles (tangy garlicky dill please), I love this video.

Christmas Pickles brought a smile and laugh in the middle of a workday...thanks for the gift! Now it's time to go slice one up and stick it's helpless little carcass between 2 pieces of bread with a healthy dose of peanut butter...LUNCHTIME!

PS...I love your 'header picture' of hayfields and mountains beyond. Says "Home" to me...

So I'm not the only one who pukes relish - good to know.

IMO, pickle communities that allow certain pickles to be kept as pets deserve to be eater, however, I'm not sure why the person ate the costume half of the pickle?

Peanut butter and pickles eh? it sounds interesting... Thank you for the comment about the picture. I took the picture out of my moving car the last time i was driving from Calgary to Canmore (this October). The scene looked and felt so "home" that I needed the picture so that I can look at it anytime I miss it.

And Kris, I would suggest that perhaps they only ate half the pickle because they were expecting a dill pickle and instead got a sweet pickle, but the video was dedicated to "baby dill", so that probably isn't the case.

I remember when you got that pickle puppet. I was so jealous. :)

This has to be the best thing I have seen in a long time...tangy pickles singing! There is some crazy German Christmas tradition of hiding a pickle in the tree, the first person to find it is to receive an extra gift. I found a pickle ornament one year and now the whole fam searches for the pickle on our tree alas no pickle-searching for us this year.
