apparently it is in you to give

As I talked about the bone marrow registry in my last post and there were some questions about it, if you are interested in more information about signing up, here is the link
They will answer any questions. So far, the only pain has been the needle prick, though I have heard that if you actually donate, it can be pretty painful.

A co-worker's father relies on blood donations a few times a month and will likely need a bone marrow transplant in the next few years. So, I decided that while I can't necessarily help her family, there may be someone out there that needs my bone marrow. Chances are, there isn't, but, you just never know. And really, unless there is a match at some point, the post painful part of it hall has been trying to get to the right lab at the right time in the pouring rain...
