registries...bleh

So we had our first session for registering for gifts. I kind of had it in the back of my head that it wouldn't be all that fun...so perhaps that's why it wasn't. It's a combination of frustration and guilt really. In the 2.5 hours we were there, we had a consulation and managed to pick plates, flatware and a few small kitchen appliances. Woohoo.
We have to go back later in the week to try to improve upon that. I can't wait...

Did Jordan pull a "Foreman" and pretend like he liked all the really gross stuff so that he wouldn't have to do it? Well maybe he actually DID like the gross stuff... that's kind of tricky!

I am so glad that Vermonters weren't into that stuff when I got married the 1st time and that Kevin was way too private to want to do it the 2nd time.

I don't envy you two as they are already asking me, "Where are they registered?"

Bonne chance!

Wow, your conscience must be way more sensitive than mine. I thought it was great being able to make a list of things other people could buy me/us. Most of it was stuff I didn't even care about, i.e. towels, utensils, etc., but the thought of getting so many gifts was invigorating. Well, maybe not invigorating, but fun. Then again, we registered after our first shower in which we received 1000 dish clothes. It's also an opportunity to pick out things that are useful and cool to have that you probably wouldn't buy yourself. Those are the types of gifts I would prefer to buy someone for their wedding.
